Teacher's Letter
At Lu’s Taekwon-Do, we wish to ensure that students do well in
other areas in addition to their Taekwon-Do classes. To assist
in this, LU'S TAEKWON-DO has created a form letter for students'
teachers to fill out.

The form letter is based on the
tenets of Taekwon-Do.
Teachers are to grade the students in each tenet. Low grades do
not constitute a failure during the testing of belts. This is
simply a tool to ensure that students are doing well outside of the
dojang. During testing, parents of children will also be asked
by the examiner about the child's conduct and behaviour at home, and
if any areas need some more work.
We ask that parents fill out the top of the form with the child's
name, the belt level,
for which they are testing (eg. "One Blue Star" or "Green Stripe"),
and the current testing month. Then the letter should be brought
to the child's teacher to fill out. Once the letter is filled
out, they must hand it into the office prior to testing, or bring it
in with them when they test. Additionally, students may bring in
their report cards.
This teacher's letter is also available in the office. If you
have any questions about the teacher's letter, please
contact us in the office.
