Att. To: All Members of ITF EB

Dear colleagues and friends,

ITF is approaching to one of its milestone event with the Congress and the Championships to be held in St. Petersburg in October.

In particular, the Congress should elect the President of ITF for next 6 years term which is the most important agenda at the captioned Congress due to the role and function of the next President to be more complicated and diversified in the vast scope of a far-seeing paradigm shift in the World of the politics, economy, Olympic Movement and Martial Arts in the near future according to the evaluation of the reliable resources.

Under the prevailing circumstances now, I as the out-going president of ITF have been waiting long time any candidate for the position of ITF President to be elected at the upcoming Congress, who should be better and younger than me however no candidate yet come for the chair of the next president of ITF.

On the other hand, Russia, Japan, Argentine, Bulgaria, New Zealand, Serbia, Scotland, India, France, Bangladesh, Sweden, Malaysia, Peru, Granada, Estonia, Cook Islands and DPR Korea National Taekwon-Do Governing organizations proposed me to continue the job of ITF President again for which I would like really to extend my wholehearted gratitude for their entire confidence given to me.

In fact, I enjoyed whole hearted trust and confidence from ITF members during my mandate of 6 years since 2002 and believe that I could do nothing for ITF without your heartiest support rendered to me in those hard working period of ITF.

If I did something good for ITF last 6 years of the period, all should be attributed to your active support towards me.

Considering further challenges together with more opportunity and prosperity of ITF, the period of only 20 days in ahead of us for the Congress and keeping in mind of the special advice from IOC President in person on 18th June this year in Lausanne, it is my duty and obligation to announce to all of you that I should accept your proposal of the candidate for the second term of the President of ITF.

However, any candidate apart from me should be welcome for the election till the election shall be conducted at the upcoming ITF Congress to be held on 13th October in St. Petersburg and the secret vote should be conducted at the Congress for the election of the next President regardless of the numbers of the candidates whether one or two or more candidates for the position to be proposed.
